1st International Symposium «DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES FOR REGISTRATION OF MUSEUM COLLECTIONS».
Participants: 25 professionals on digitalization of museum collections’registration and development of unified information resources in the sphere of cultural heritage from the Netherlands, Ukraine and Russia. Presentations of experience, discussion on the strategic policy of selecting and introducing of the system of digital registration of museum collections in Ukraine.

The MATRA Ukrainian working group visiting in Amsterdam. December 13th -17th, 2006
The MATRA Ukrainian working group has visited Amsterdam on December 13th -17th, 2006. The aim of the trip was to discuss with the Dutch working group the results of project year 2006 and to set schedule of activities for year 2007.
The program of the visit included:
December 14th:
- Visit to the Netherlands Institute for Cultural Heritage. Meeting with the curators of collections Evert Rodrigo and Eric Domela, registrar Yuri van der Linden. Visiting storages, introduction into collections and registration system.
- Visit to “Salon” (Education Department) of Historical museum of the Hague, meeting with Diana Timmer (Educator, Matra Trainer).
- Visit to the Hague Public Museum. Exhibition “Wonderkamers”.
- Dinner with MATRA-colleagues: Peter Schoon (Director, Dordrecht Museum), Margriet de Jong (Senior Manager for International Relations, Museum Association, Matra project Coordinator), Gerdien Verschoor (Director, CODART, Matra Project Leader) and Herman Aarts (Director, Municipal Museum Zwolle, Matra project Trainer).
December 15th:
- Meeting of the Dutch and Ukrainian project groups in the Museums Association of the Netherlands.
- Visiting the Amstelkring Museum, meeting with Judikje Kiers, Museum Director and Matra project Trainer.
- Visiting “Istanbul” exhibition in Nieuwekerk.
